On April 23rd, 2006 Black Diamond Games hosted a Hordes Unleashed event. This free
event celebrated the release of Hordes, the new fantasy miniature game from
Privateer Press. Hordes allows you to run powerful warlocks
who control chaotic war beasts that wreak havoc on their enemies.
Black Diamond Games provided a Hordes cake to participants and
gave out prizes to everyone who played, including the winners who received a
Hordes hardcover rulebook, signed by the Privateer Press game developers, two
Hordes t-shirts and special Hordes tokens.
Learn the Star Wars Miniature Game
Learn the Star Wars miniature game with
an expert delegate from Wizards of the Coast. This
simple game uses a scaled down version of the D20
system, used in Dungeons and Dragons and other
roleplaying games. Miniatures are user friendly and the
rules are geared towards beginner players. If you have
D20 experience, you'll grasp it right away, if you're
new to the game, you'll pick it up fast. There's no
experience necessary and all rules will be provided.

- Get 10% (or more)
off all merchandise that is to be used in the
classroom.
- Set up a gaming
group at your school and get 10% off of the member’s
choice of games - for all club members!

School game clubs are
an excellent way to organize your game group, increase
an existing group’s membership (including Chess clubs),
provide leadership opportunities for club members, and
use school-sanctioned fund-raising events to create and
expand your club’s game collection.
Black Diamond Games wants to sponsor your game club.
Club members will receive a 10% discount on all games,
with guaranteed access to game demos and new products. A
Black Diamond Games shirt will be free to each member
with a single purchase of $50 or more.
What you need to do: It’s as easy as 1-2-3!
- Find an adult
to sponsor your club. This will probably be a
teacher or school counselor. Make sure to mention to
a potential sponsor that your club will ONLY play
appropriate games with educational value and will
not discriminate on who can join. Black Diamond
Games can provide a list of recommended educational
games, by grade level.
- Officially form
your club within your school. Your sponsor can
help you with the details.
- Create club
membership cards. Black Diamond Games needs to
know who your club members are so they can get their
10% discount. When buying games with fund-raising
money, remember that the games belong to the school
and will have a Black Diamond Games sticker attached
to them to help remind you.
